I am a big advocate of Comfort wheelchairs. As long as the person being cared for is in control of the sitting position it is the ideal option. For those who lack this stability once the wheelchair has been suitably adapted, it too can fulfil its function and be a huge support to both the person using it and the carer. I always use Comfort strollers – especially as a ‘respite’ / pram.
